Using 2 times tables to figure out 4 times tables!!

W.A.L.T use 2 times tables to work out four times tables.

Today all the year fives did a new strategy. I used 2 times tables to figure out division and 4 times table problems.

This is the maths I did



This was really easy for me and I would definitely use this strategy again and I do not need more practise

for example I did twenty three times four equals well twenty three times two equals forty six and forty six times two equals ninety two.
